International Programmes Director

£42,823 – £45,007 (settlement pending) plus 6% non-contributory pension


Our international programme partnerships seek to mobilise people to challenge power through organised collective action. We are now recruiting a new International Programmes Director to lead the team in delivery of this central element of War on Want’s work.

Responsible to the Executive Director, you will lead in the planning, implementing and monitoring of War on Want’s international partnerships, as well as contributing to the overall management of the organisation as a member of the senior management team. This is a highly rewarding position for a committed and inspirational individual to make a genuine difference in the fight for global justice.

Frankie Boyle has joined musicians, writers, union chiefs and politicians telling David Cameron not to bomb Syria as 25,000 protesters prepare to march on Westminster.

The outspoken comic is one of 23 people who signed a letter begging the Prime Minister to block air strikes tonight after he warned Britain is under 'armed attack'.

Others include former Roxy Music star Brian Eno, Green MP Caroline Lucas, writer John Pilger and comedian Jeremy Hardy.
