Fighting for justice, mobilising for change

This document presents War on Want's strategic framework for the five years from April 2015 to March 2020. It has been put together by means of a participatory process and review lasting 18 months and involving War on Want members, affiliates, partners, donors, staff and trustees. It sets out the direction of our growth and development as an organisation over the coming five years.
 
We publish this document as a statement of our values and our intent, and as an invitation to all readers to join us in our mission to fight against the root causes of poverty and human rights violation worldwide. The strategic framework stands as a reference point for all our internal work plans and other strategies, as well as for our relationships with partners and allies around the world. It is a public document, and one against which we can be held to account.
 
War on Want is secure in its mission and in its politics, but we must constantly evolve so as to seize all opportunities to increase our influence and our impact in the changing social and technological environment. We look forward to meeting this challenge, and we encourage all those who share our beliefs to join the movement for social justice around the world.
