Please note that in order to attend the virtual AGM you will need to register in advance.
Our AGM is open to all members and affiliates to attend. It gives you the chance to hear first-hand reports about what has been achieved over the past year, ask questions and vote on any resolutions presented at the meeting. If you're not a member of War on Want you can join us today with a regular donation — it takes just a few minutes.

Election for the War on Want Council of Management:
Eight valid nominations were received to fill the vacancies on the Council of Management. The election is therefore uncontested and Alia Al-Ghussain, Sam Mason, Steve Davis, Mark Luetchford, Norina O’Hare, Mike Cushman, Amber Williams and Shaben Begum will be declared appointed as trustees at the AGM. Emergency resolutions
In an emergency, resolutions may be submitted for consideration by the AGM after the deadline for receipt of ordinary resolutions. Emergency resolutions must be submitted by 1pm on Wednesday 24 May 2023.
For a resolution to be considered on this basis it must:
- Relate solely to matters that have taken place since 12 noon Wednesday 29 March 2023
- Be seconded and submitted in writing on the relevant form to David Rudkin no less than 48 hours before the AGM is due to take place
