War on Want is dedicated to fighting global poverty by challenging the rules that keep people poor and working together with partner organisations in the developing world.

But we can't do it alone. Donations from people like you are what allow us to continue our work. Stand with us in the fight against poverty.

Donate regularly and become a member

Regular donations from members are vital to our work. They allow us to campaign more effectively and make long-term commitments to our partners in developing countries.

  • £5 a month could help pay expenses for a volunteer who gives up their time for free
  • £10 a month could go towards our work in conflict zones such as Iraq
  • £15 a month could help us campaign in Palestine and support partners on the ground

Alternatively, you can download a membership form here

Make a one-off donation

Single donations provide important resources for our programme partners around the world and our campaigns team in the UK.

  • £20 could help run a workshop in Zambia educating workers on their rights
  • £50 could help publish a report raising awareness of the need for corporate accountability
  • £100 could help pay the legal fees for Bangladeshi garment workers who take action against their employers for unpaid wages
  • £150 could help send a member of staff to Brazil to give hands on support to landless people

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a way for charities to claim back the tax you've already paid on donations. So if you are a UK tax payer, we can claim back 25% of the value of your gift at no cost to you. That means that a gift of £20 is actually worth £25 to War on Want.

I live abroad. Can I setup regular payments?
