Gmail & Googlemail tabs

Gmail recently changed its inbox format so emails are organised by category and shown in tabs. Unfortunately, Google has decided that our emails belong under the "Promotions" tab along with discount offers and pizza deals. To change this

1. Drag a War on Want email to the "Primary" tab

2. Click "Yes" when the alert pops up

If War on Want's emails are ending up in spam or junk folders, then do the following depending on the client you use:

Gmail & Googlemail

  • In the inbox, click on contacts on the left hand side
  • Click on add contact
  • Type the email address in the email field
  • Click on Save and the email address will have been added to your contacts

Hotmail & Outlook

  • Click Options and then More Options... from the toolbar
  • Click the Safe and blocked senders link under Junk email.
  • Click Safe senders
  • Type the email address in the email field

Yahoo! & BT Internet

  • Click on Contacts on the left hand side of your inbox view
  • Click Add
  • Type the email address in the email field
  • Click on Save and the email address will have been added to your contacts.

  • In the Inbox, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the Mail Options
  • Click on address book
  • Click Add
  • Type the email address in the screen name block
  • Click on Save and the email address will have been added to your contacts
