War on Want in the Times: Seamstresses working on Topshop’s Beyoncé range are paid 44p an hour.

Owen Espley, War on Want Sweatshops Campaigner, said: 

"The superyachts and luxurious life styles, enjoyed by the likes of Philip Green, are a far cry from the grim reality facing garment workers in Sri Lanka.

"Unless the fashion industry is transformed, women will continue to be exploited to produce clothes for the UK high street.”
