Thousands of you say YES to the immediate withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan

We delivered this resounding YES to Foreign Secretary William Hague and gave him a copy of our report The Great Game: The reality of Britain’s war in Afghanistan which emphatically makes the case for an immediate withdrawal of troops and a negotiated settlement.
Thank you for taking action and supporting War on Want in the fight against the root causes of global poverty, inequality and injustice. War on Want will continue to campaign for an end to UK military involvement in Afghanistan. We will be contributing to an important conference on Afghanistan and the war on terror ten years on in June.
