Posters against sweatshop poverty!

A big thank you to everyone who participated in War on Want's Love Fashion Hate Sweatshop workshop yesterday.

The workshop was part of Mulberry School for Girls' yearly inspiring conference MulYouth. The conference was founded by a group of school students at the East London school in 2002 and has grown into a cutting edge forum for London youth to inspire each other and get involved in activism on global issues.

This year War on Want was invited back to run a workshop on the fast fashion industry, global sweatshop exploitation and our Love Fashion Hate Sweatshop campaign. It was great to have such interesting discussions and challanging questions from students in schools around London about the sweatshop industry and how we can campaign for justice. The students took part in our campaign by creating their own posters using slogans, stickers, action cards and other materials.
