Tax not cuts demo

War on Want demonstrated today outside HMRC with Jubilee Debt Campaign and the union PCS for a fair tax system and against cuts as part of our tax justice campaign.
The government is continuing to cut jobs and close tax offices, while failing to properly tackle tax dodging across the world. The revenue from uncollected tax could stop cuts here in the UK, and support poor populations in the developing world.
More actions are upcoming and War on Want also supports UK Uncut’s day of action against tax dodgers on 18 December 2010.
