As the DJs played the finest pop, soul and rock'n'roll in East London, dancers were supporting Love Fashion Hate Sweatshops the biggest ever call for the government to regulate companies and put an end to the exploitation of overseas workers.
Every time the klaxon sounded, people swapped an item of clothing with someone next to them, and many ended up with a Love Fashion Hate Sweatshops t-shirt. Attendees were advised to wear clothes they didn't mind never seeing again. And just look at the results!
War on Want supporters all around the UK are organising clothes swapping parties, gigs, ethical fashion shows, photography shoots, school projects and all sorts of other events to spread the message and get more people involved.
