Document Photography Award 2010

War on Want's Document Photography Award was launched to encourage new photographers to engage with the subject of poverty. War on Want has shortlisted submissions from students all over the world who have examined the issue of poverty in a number of settings, from council estates in the UK to the homeless in Russia, the slums of Kenya to the unemployed youth in British towns.

The shortlisted entries will be exhibited at HOST Gallery, Honduras Street, London, from 21 - 28 January. The winner will be announced at a private viewing on 21 January before the exhibition opens to the public in London and venues across the UK.
