War on Want has a tiny team at Glastonbury and we could do with your help! If you are already going to Glastonbury and would like to get some campaign experience and earn some extra cash, read on.
War on Want is campaigning in support of our South African partners. These inspirational social movements are fighting for decent housing and public services in one of the most unequal places on earth. As all eyes are on South Africa this summer for the World Cup, we are aiming to get 10,000 people supporting our partners' fight before the end of the tournament.
We're feeling ambitious, but if we are to reach our goal we need your help. We're looking for 20 volunteers to collect 200 names each in support of the campaign. In exchange for sparing us some of your festival time, we'll pay for your food and drink for the day.
