Companies Act comes into force, but Brown must go further to achieve targets

Leading campaign groups today (1 October 2007) welcomed the coming into force of key provisions of the Companies Act 2006, but called on Gordon Brown to make sure that the Act is the first step to further reforms of the government's thinking on business, poverty and the environment.
