War on Want joined a panel discussion on EU-US trade deal TTIP at the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) this week.

'Neoliberalism Reloaded: The New Generation of Trade Treaties and Their Effect on Developing Countries' was hosted by the SOAS branch of Students Against TTIP. The discussion focused on the important yet often overlooked topic of what TTIP and its related deals mean for the countries of the global South.

War on Want senior trade campaigner Mark Dearn joined Ruth Bergen of the Trade Justice Movement and SOAS academic Dr Yonit Manor-Percival for the discussion, chaired by SOAS Against TTIP.
