Rana Plaza two years on: Long Road to Justice walking tour

On 24 April 2013, over 1,100 people were killed and 2,500 injured when the Rana Plaza building collapsed in Bangladesh. The building housed factories making clothes for Benetton, Primark, Matalan, Mango and other major brands supplying clothes for the UK high street.

On the eve of the second anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster, we organised a tour of the high street brands behind fashions’ dirty secret.

The tour was organised by Labour Behind the Label and War on Want, supported by Fashion Revolution, Potent Whisper, Rainbow Collective, Brick Lane Debates, TRAID, Traidcraft ; Unite the Union - London and Eastern
