Naomi Klein speaks at a Hands Off Iraqi Oil event
Naomi Klein, award-winning journalist and author of the renowned anti-globalisation manual No Logo, launched the paperback edition of her latest book, Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism on 19 May 2008.
In front of a packed audience in Central London, Naomi Klein spoke about the corporate takeover of Iraq and many other issues around conflict. The event raised over £5500 for the Iraqi Federation of Oil Workers and the UK-based Hands Off Iraqi Oil campaign, of which War on Want is a member.
