£42,823-£45,007, plus 6% non-contributory employer’s pension

Our current Campaigns and Policy Director is moving abroad after eight successful years at War on Want, and we are seeking to recruit a brilliant, self-motivated and experienced individual to lead the team in the delivery of our campaigns.

You will be responsible to the Executive Director for all War on Want’s campaigning activities. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring War on Want’s campaigning, media and policy work and contributing to the overall management of the organisation. This is a unique and highly rewarding position for a creative and inspirational individual to make a genuine difference in the fight for global justice.

£33,828-£35,553, plus 6% non-contributory employer’s pension

We are seeking to recruit a brilliant, experienced communications and media professional to lead in the delivery of our communications. This is a new post, reflecting the emphasis on communications in our strategic framework for the coming five years, and a unique opening for a creative and self-motivated individual to make a genuine difference in the fight for global justice.

The Senior Communications & Media Officer role is pivotal in ensuring that War on Want continues to punch above its weight. With a keen eye for story opportunities, a captivating copy style and up-to-date knowledge of the latest digital communications tools, you will fulfil a key role in taking our communications output to a new level.
