War on Want partners in the World Social Forum (WSF)

War on Want partners who participated in the event included: Monlar, LPM, MST, Tie Asia, AMRC,Solidar, Stop the wall, and Sikhula Sonke. We all participated in many activities such as panels, processions, film nights, forums and workshops. It was a great opportunity to meet diverse organisations working on similar issues. We were also able to catch up with our partners have recent updates about projects, hear their concerns and ideas as well as plans for possible projects in the future.

War on Want participated and attended various activities such as: the ‘Free Trade Agreements Revisited: US and EU strategies to enhance corporate globalization (Our World is Not For Sale)’, ‘Decent Work and the Millennium Development Goals (SOLIDAR)’, ‘Palestine: The international call for sanctions on Israel (War on Want, ECCP, Stop the Wall)’, ‘40 Years are Enough! End the Israeli occupation of Palestine (ECCP, War on Want)’.
