80% of Guatemalans live in poverty. Guatemala also has the highest proportion of child workers in Latin America. Two out of every five children are forced to work.

Many children in Guatemala are forced to work just to have enough money to eat.

Conrado de la Cruz is supporting child led initiatives and lobbies local municipalities to provide poor working children with the skills and tools necessary for a better life. They enable working children to get the education they need and deserve.
