Supermarkets & Sweatshops

Help us stop supermarket power

War on Want is leading the campaign against supermarket power, and the exploitation of sweatshop workers as recently featured in BBC’s Panorama programme and major newspapers.

We fight against the exploitation of workers producing our clothing and goods by challenging corporate power in the UK and supporting workers’ organisations abroad.

You can help us continue our work and call on the UK government to ensure the proper treatment of workers in developing countries.

Add your name to our petition below to call for the UK government to guarantee a fair deal for workers producing goods for UK supermarkets and demand a living wage for all, decent working conditions and the right to join a trade union.

You can also help us maintain the pressure and step up our campaign by joining War on Want with a direct debit. Your support will help us fund vital projects abroad and our campaign against the root causes of poverty.
