The separation wall built by the Israeli government, declared illegal by the International Court of Justice, has resulted in the loss of land and housing for already poverty-striken Palestinians.

Mile after miles of barbed wire, electrified metal, sniper towers and concrete snake through the West Bank, stretching over double the length of the current border. Parts of the Palestinian population have found themselves cut off from schools, health services and physically unable to reach their work. Trees are uprooted, villages cut off, houses destroyed and vital land, water and resources are lost. The wall is devastating virtually every aspect of Palestinian life. War on Want supports Stop the Wall, a campaigning organisation based in Palestine that highlights the impact of the Wall through the eyes of communities affected by it. But to continue their work, they need money to help circulate research and help bring about social and political change.
