The ongoing civil war in Colombia, fuelled by a complex conflict fought between the left-wing guerillas, right-wing paramilitaries and the Colombian armed forces, has taken a heavy toll upon the civilian population, who have found themselves caught up in the crossfire of the violence.

This card features a beautiful photograph of a father and son: part of one of the displaced communities. Taken by photographer Elcio Carriço, it formed part of a major exhibition in London.
